COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update

To our Patients and Community:

After much contemplation, our office has made the decision to modify our eye care services for the next few weeks. We have closely followed the information released by the Center for Disease Control, which has made the recommendation to postpone all routine eye care. We believe that these and other precautions are necessary and important to the health of our team, patients, and community.

Temporary Hours through April 3rd

  • Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Our office is also still available, during these hours, for phone calls or texts at 254.776.8119 and we are happy to provide you with any information that you may need.

Patients will still be able to pick-up their current glasses and contact lens orders, but we will move immediately to curbside eyewear pickup. To maintain social distancing, please text us when you arrive during your scheduled pick time. One of our team members will walk your order out to you.  All new contact lenses orders will be shipped directly to your home at no charge during this time.

Our office will remain available to provide urgent and emergent eye care to our existing patients. To alleviate potential overflow in emergency rooms and urgent care centers, we want our community to be aware that we are available for all eye issues that may arise. This includes eye pain, eye infections, possible foreign bodies, scratches on the eye, or any new onset of flashes of light or floaters. We are highly skilled in handling these issues and are happy to continue to offer this care.

Please review the link from the CDC should you have any further questions.

We are committed to improving the quality of life of those in our community through enhanced vision, and we did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.

Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.

We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time. We will be here to help you achieve and maintain your best vision for years to come.
