Like so many others in Central Texas, our office has been closed to keep our patients and team safe. We were also not immune to the problems so many of you have experienced, too, and our building has serious damage from this week’s unprecedented weather. Roads are clearing quickly, though, and we are regrouping over the weekend. Our entire team will be back in the office on Monday, February 22.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope this message finds your family warm and safe. We look forward to seeing you soon, and we thank you for supporting our small business and the families of our 12 team members. ~Stacie Virden
APPOINTMENTS:
If you have received a message that your appointment was cancelled due to weather, we will contact you individually to reschedule it. Out team will begin making these calls on Monday, February 22.
ORDERS:
If you have placed an order for glasses or contacts, we will be updating you with the status of your eyewear early next week. The last delivery we received from UPS or FedEx was on Thursday, February 11, so we expect a LOT of orders to show up next week. Thank you for your patience–we promise they will be worth waiting for!
Our doors are locked, but we are open! We are thrilled to let you know that we are accepting appointments and seeing patients. We will be available from 8:15 -5:30 Monday through Thursday, and 9:15 – 5:00 on Fridays.
We are slowly ramping up by adding patient care hours and exam slots a little at a time. We have spaced out our appointments so there are fewer people in the office and are using technology to reduce the patient’s time spent with any one person to decrease risk. Because of these limits, we are giving priority to patients with urgent eye care needs or who desperately need to order glasses or contacts with us.
Our team is using masks at all times, and we will ask our patients to do the same. We have increased our already stringent disinfection protocols.
Glasses pickup will still be done curbside, and contact lens orders will continue to be shipped directly to your home.
Please call or text us at 254.776.8119 before you drop by so we can be ready for you when you get here. Our number one goal is to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Since 2000, Dr. Stacie Layne Virden and the Team at Waco Vision Source have been the ones to see in Central Texas for both routine and medical eye care. After a six month, 100% renovation in 2019, we are now welcoming patients at our original location in The Ridge Office Park, Suite 210.
As ever, we will still offer the most comprehensive vision examinations available in Central Texas, and our new space has allowed us to offer even more options for preventive care. So that you see as well at home as you do through our state of the art equipment during your exam, we always use the latest technology in both glasses and contact lenses.
We are committed to improving the quality of life of those in our community through enhanced vision. Give yourself the gift of clear vision – schedule an appointment with Dr. Virden, Dr. Vien or Dr. Sanders today. We want to help you achieve and maintain your best vision for years to come.
